A successful career may conceal the most tragic of tales. Lolo Jones, who took home the USA and World Championships for hurdle events in 2013, only achieved this feat by putting in a lot of hard work and a lot of patience. Jones was the only child in a family of five who lived living in poverty. Her mother lived on the road and even inside the basement of a church in the area at one point. The sporadic lifestyle led Jones to change schools and attend the same school each year, until she began the high school. Jones was kept apart from her parents at Theodore Roosevelt for the purpose of competing in the track and field. Jones lived in four distinct homes during her time in high school, so she could complete her studies at one time. Jones won an award called the Gatorade Iowa Track and Field Athlete of the Year award at school and was also involved in the orchestra at school, playing cellist. Jones began her athletic career in college as one the top hurdlers. In the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship she was the winner of in the 100m hurdles. In addition, she was on the team that won the 100-meter relay. Jones was the winner of the NCAA Indoor Hurdles contest in the years 2003 and the 2004. Jones started her career in 2005 after she completed her education. Jones began training to prepare for a successful track career. In the same year, she took home the Torino Memorial Event, while in 2026 she took home the Ostrava Track event as well as Heusden.

Brandt is a child of the Cape Town region. She grew up within Cape Town South Africa with her parents and siblings relocated into Auckland New Zealand when she was in her late teens. After being discovered by local casting directors, Brandt assumed the character of Naevia for the Starz hits Spartacus: Blood and Sand and Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Due to her partnership together with Steven S. D Knight and Sam Raimi's producers, she became a breakout movie star. Mazikeen, a fan-favorite DC/Vertigo character from comics and Vertigo/DC series Lucifer was her character on the hit Netflix show. Forbes identified Lucifer for 2021 and declared it a show which had the largest quantity of people who watched it on a binge. Brandt's next appearance will be in a six-episode Walking Dead spin-off in 2024, opposite Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurrira. In the summer of 2023's Netflix adult animated comedy Captain Fall, Brandt stars alongside Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan Chris Meloni. Lesley Ann Brandt was born on December 2, in Cape Town, South Africa. She's a very talented New Zealand actress. Lesley Brandt moved with her entire New Zealand family to Auckland in the year 1999. The first time she worked in Auckland as a retailer before being elevated to an IT management consultant. Lesley has performed in numerous commercial ads after several modeling assignments. In 2008, she completed her studies in acting. After that, in 2009, she continued training using the Meisner approach to study. Lesley Brandt landed her first major acting job with New Zealand in TV Drama Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt made a guest appearance on New Zealand's TV drama Shortland Street acting as second actor. In the sequel to this sci-fi series This Is Not My Life she played the city of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt played Naevia in the TV series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The character was later reprised as the character in the Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
