Srushti Deshmukh began working on her UPSC entry in her 3rd year of her engineering degree. In her final year in engineering, Srushti Deshmukh was unsure if she could be interested in working in engineering. When she realized that her desire was fulfilled and pursuing it, she started working on civil services. Her parents insisted that she study for civils and make an impact in the community. Her motivation never waned, and remained focused solely in her pursuit of becoming an IAS. Achieving UPSC requires more effort. She also prepared for UPSC exams while studying engineering. Exam preparation was conducted every day. In just over a month and half it was time to prepare for her exam in engineering as well as completely avoiding social media. The focus she believes is essential to clear the examination for government jobs and to be eligible for a job as a civil servant. She worked hard to pass the test on her first attempt. Every day, she read the newspapers to stay abreast of current affairs. She also got a lot of assistance online, acquiring various studying materials as well as viewing Rajya Sabha TV.
